Great staff, great location (literally hundreds of restaurants/tapas bars/coffee shops) within easy walking distance. The main square is always teeming and full of activities, sights and sounds. The staff is really top notch, very friendly and knowledgeable of the surrounding area and the city as a whole. Will stay there again when in Madrid!

I love my stay at this hotel! The staff are lovely, it's right in the centre of Madrid by the Gran Vía. The rooms are clean and pleasant. Comfy bed. If I were to be picky, the sink in the bathroom isn't great because the water doesn't clean around the plug hole. They've refurbished putting new over old, but, it isn't a problem at all. The breakfast and the lady at the entrance were amazing. Everything you could want, 7-11am which is perfect. I will definitely return if I come back to Madrid. Free toiletries were also great. Taxi from airport only 33€ and 15 mins.

Receptionist was excellent and very helpful. We had not made a reservation but this was not a problem. Room very good and clean, comfortable beds. A perfect hotel for a short stay. Breakfast was good but none of the cooked items were kept hot, same with the coffee and plates were cold. Rolls, croissants, fine with jam/marmelade. Big plus was the location, in the city centre close to bars, restaurants and the metro. Reception can order a cab if required.

Used to be a wonderful hotel that is now not up to standards for a 4 or 5 star rating. Bedding was uncomfortable. Chairs in the room were very uncomfortable and sagging. Staff was good! Don’t think we will return again.

We have stayed here 9 years ago. This time we just stayed for 1 night. This might have been a 4 stars hotel back then but definitely not now. We stayed in room 304 next to the elevator and very small. The bathroom door which it is glass and did not close properly was next to the bed. No privacy at all. The towels were old and and very thin. The sink in the bathroom did not drain well. The faucets were rusty. The walls were dirty. The only good thing about this hotel is the Location. For the rate we paid this was not a good choice for our stay in Madrid.
